Amazing American 1970s Vintage Greeting Cards to Send or Frame

Today's upload to the site has been of these fantastic American 1970s greeting cards (don't worry I'm nearly done uploading cards)! These have the cheesiest greetings inside them and amazing original envelopes in coordinating colours - some even lined with gold paper!  My personal favourite is the cowboy, it is bright and glossy screen printed? Design on thick, quality card, with metallic detailing. Clearly, these would have been expensive cards in their day. The range is called Circa 2000, made by the United Card Company, Rolling Meadows, Illinois, USA. Scandinavian Vintage Tin Tastic

Here at Pineapple Retro HQ I have been collecting vintage tins for years. I love the fact they have a purpose, as well as looking fantastic (I keep my buttons in some). The thought that many were filled with sweeties or biscuits, and seen only as a container, not expected to be collected today is part of the appeal for me. The variety and colours are great, especially when displayed together. I constantly have a flow of them through the website, so if you have an addiction, like me, then please check back About Sophie Sophie Crocket has over 10 years...

The Wonderful World of Gwyneth Mamlok - Greeting Cards

Several years ago, here at Pineapple Retro, I managed to get my paws on a regular source for vintage greeting cards, these are genuine 1970s unused vintage, and came from a guy who used to supply to shops back in the day. I buy hundreds of them at a time, and started to investigate the designers (names on the reverse of each) One designer grabbed my attention, Gwyneth Mamlok. She has a cartoon style of illustration, and almost child like. I recently discovered a tea towel also by her, and books with illustrations... thus begins another obsession I fear!  View our range...

Vintage Glass Ware - Rainbow Collection

My biggest collection is probably the vintage glass I have all over our house.  I have collected glass for many years, and believe my love came from my grandma's house, where I remember glass shelves full of colour.   I am drawn to the vivid colours and shapes, especially Italian and Scandinavian, and mostly cased (white interior which gives it a stronger colour) Yellow seems to be the hardest pure colour to find, and am still looking for that elusive, large scale piece for my own collection. Along the way i do part with some pieces, so it is worth either...
