Amazing 1950s Holiday Camp Signs

A week ago i received possibly my favourite delivery to the shop... 7 fantastic plastic signs from a Yorkshire Holiday camp. They appear to be made from Acrylic, and would have fit over large light boxes originally. Before arrival, 3 sold, and i fell in love with another two (whoops)! But the last two, are still available - 'Be Our Guests' and 'lots of Fun'. To find one of these is rare, but i have had all these stunning Shattaline lamps in the past few years... the rarest part being the matching, coloured spun fibreglass shades. At one point, i had all of these in my own collection, but sadly i had to gradually part with them when i realised i didn't have the room! Some of you may know the name Jessie Tait, well here at Pineapple Retro, i am a big fan! She worked for Midwinter, but also designed for other factories, such as (in this case) J&G Meakin. This stunning pattern (very reminiscent of the Gwyneth Mamlok designs i also have) is called Garden Party, and doesn't come along very often.
