Vintage 1950s unusual Bamboo Table Lamp / Planter

This is a very unusual table lamp

Made in the 1950s i would say, it is a bamboo base, with a woven shade. The base of the lamp can also be used for a planter (i think it works well with a spider plant in, as shown)

Great condition. Solid teak base below the bamboo

Measures 65cm high x 36cm in diameter (shade)

Re wired with modern twisted cable in co-ordinating gold. Fully working
