Vintage 1950s Storage Basket / Bucket - Curfew - Arsenic Green

This is a lovely and unusual piece. Not sure what is was originally made for, at first i thought maybe egg collecting?

Only clue is the wooden handle has 'Curfew' impressed on it? the basket itself is plastic coated wire in a lovely Arsenic green shade

It's large enough to holds lots, great for storage

Some scuffs in places, but still great
