Vintage 1950s Kitsch TV Lamp - Nautical Fish Design
This is a very kitsch lamp with a fishy design
Made in the 1950s, they were called TV lamps, as designed to give out a low light to avoid eye strain when early television screens first came out for home use. These days they make a subtle light for any room.
The centre has a selection of fish in a supposed under water scene (actually real, dried plants) the outter is made from solid oak with brass detailing to look like a ships wheel.
Great condition, fully working and modern wiring.
Measures 21.5cm in diameter x 22cm high
