Vintage 1950s Kitsch Alfred Meakin Covered Waggon / Wagon China

This is a lovely design by Alfred Meakin

The pattern is called Covered Wagon (spelt Waggon on the back stamps) and dates from the 1950s.

Now very hard to get hold of, this is one of the rarer patterns in particular, i have collected this for many years, but have decided to part with it all

The tea pot with matching covered sugar and milk jug are by Sadler, but i always displayed them with the Meakin as they worked so well together. Sadly the tea pot has a crack and chip under the lid
