Retro drinking glasses are one way to jazz up even the dullest drink. Here at Pineapple Retro HQ we use a mixture of modern retro and vintage glasses, but always brightly coloured and fun. I love finding new designs, from the stylish lines of the 1950s (these tend to be thinner glass, so amazing any survived) to the slightly more robust, bold, vintage designs of the 1960s and 70s. Swedish designer, Lotta Kühlhorn is passionate about patterns and here, at Pineapple Retro we're proud to be stocking her beautiful, distinctive Scandinavian range of kitchenware by Koloni.   In the 1990s Lotta was one of the first Swedish designers to use a more pop art approach. Like Warhol before her, she looked at everyday items and then turned them into bold graphic, almost cartoon-like prints and repeats. This method of simplifying and repeating was to become a foundation style of Lotta's, seeing her evolve into more geometric designs, incorporating beautiful symmetrical, repeating patterns.
